First shown at Galerie d’Anvers in 1987, the exhibition “Maghreb, les terrasses du ciel” by François-Xavier Haage has been re-edited in his memory twenty-two years after its first inauguration. It features his photographs taken during his travels to Algeria and Morocco between 1985 and 1987.

Inspired by the bright nature of his work, the exhibition’s catalogue is printed on a thin clear bible paper resulting in a see-through layout that emphasises the luminosity of his photographic work. The publication also includes an abstract map that traces Haage’s journey across the northwest African region, revealing the places where the images were originally captured.
