Spin (Close)
Details (Read more)

In her drawings, sculptures, videos, and installations, Caroline Corbasson explores our relationship to space and the universe, from the infinitely large to the invisibly small. Her latest work “Spin” is at the crossroads of two worlds: that of the playful childhood, borrowing its design from the spinning top, and that of the mysterious and scientific world of observing celestial objects, with its astronomical tool appearance.

Produced in a very limited edition, each piece is presented in a transparent acrylic packaging that enhances the artwork. Its clear cylindrical structure manages to be unobtrusive and refined, whilst the rock-textured surface of the lid echoes the cosmic landscapes that characterise Corbasson’s work. The packaging is made using high-quality materials derived from post-consumer waste, in line with sustainable production processes.
